Do Heading Tags Matter in Google Anymore?
Header Tags such as H1, H2 & H3 have long since been considered fundamental elements of On-Page SEO. Recently it has been considered that they are not as important as they used to be.
The reasons for this way of thinking is that there has been a shift in the way search engine algorithms are based. Now alot of weight is placed on authority and relevance of pages that link to your site, further devaluing anything you can do on page.
