The Long Tail Method when applied to Organic SEO is a method of utilising the huge amount of traffic that search for unpopular and thus less competetive terms. It seemed only fitting that a site all about search engines and search engine optimisation should have its own on site search engine. We didn't go the normal and basic route and add the Google search engine, athough its a good application. We have gone for the Wrensoft Zoom search engine which is very flexible and can be hacked just the way you want it! I have used the ZOOM search engine on loads of sites and have always liked it. SERPs Analysis of SEO competition
V7 Networks (v7n.com) recently ran an SEO competition to optimise a page for the term "v7ndotcom elursrebmem". The keyword is made up of the site name v7n.com spelled out and the word membersrule spelled backwards.
